OnesDay

Dear Reader (2020-02-24, edited 25),

After a Sunday composed of a drive out towards Beiseker and beyond, followed by an afternoon in the studio, we have Onesday. This new day of the week is in recognition of a day of singular photos (one of this and one of that). So today there are new images for the sets “Thin Line”, “Dawn”, “Prairie Stillness” (2 images), “Abandoned”, and a WTF where did that come from.

That bottom image is the result of two (Saturday & Sunday) studio sessions. This success was preceded by around 180 failures and not-quite-theres. There are two versions of this image. The original is the more orange of the two and the yellow version was in response to a comment someone made that was based on colour. As much as I like the yellow, orange still wins by a slim margin.

Cheers, Sean

  1. Wow! Yes, the orange. The others are serene and I think they need to be viewed on the big screen. Normally I don’t like fences between me and the photographic subject, but you have made it work.

    1. Thank you for visiting and commenting. Yes, sometimes the fence becomes part of the composition, and sometimes I don’t want it.
