Five Stans 05

Dear Reader (2023-10-23),
Since I last wrote, I have completed the first set of experiments for my Exposure Festival 2024 Exhibition, “Shadows Passing”.  I am excited by the project, and I look forward to showing you the results next February.

In today’s post we travel from Kazakhstan into Kyrgyzstan.  Cows are expensive to feed from a food perspective.  Instead, throughout the Stans, horse herding has a long history.  All the images except for the man on the horse, and the old train carriage were taken through a bus window.

Quality Control Note: An occasional reader has commented that he finds the font faint on this website.  Though I have been unable to replicate the issue, I have made a slight change to how I handle text.  If anyone else finds the type difficult to read, please let me know, and I will investigate further.

You are welcome to share a link to this page with others.
As always, all comments are welcome and sought.
Cheers, Sean
