Dear Reader (2025-03-07)
Today is Monday December 16th. Yesterday I tried too hard and recorded a great many uninspiring images. Today I am a happier photographic egg, and my eye is working much better. There are still hundreds of images to review but the process is much more enjoyable.
This post is, I think, the penultimate South America & Antarctic tour post. Our ship the Ocean Endeavour has arrived in the protected waters of Halfmoon Island. I would have been happy to spend a day or two rather than hours wandering the area on foot and zodiac. The kayakers are out. The snowshoers are out (10). There is a world to explore and savour.
