Dear Reader (2025-01-05)
In La Boca, down a short alley an accordion player sits in the corner of a small empty stage. This is obviously his livelihood. I ask if I can take his portrait through gestures, and I contribute to the nearly empty hat in front of him. He agrees to be photographed. If you thought sharing my street photography was uncommon, my portraits are even more rare.
This image marks the end of the Buenos Aires block of posts. I will soon return with a new block of Patagonia posts.

That is a lovely portrait! Did he play for you?
Thank you and yes he did.
