  1. I envy you that dark sky experience. Assuming it was dark, and there wasn’t some nearby man-made light source spoiling the view.

    1-Practical tents, though I admit to hoping to see something a bit more traditional or exotic.

    2-Greenery in the desert is always interesting and makes me wonder about the geology that supports life.

    3-I never have much luck with directly into the sun photos. I like this one, though I’m torn between liking the cars because of context, or not wanting them in the scene for the pure desert experience.

    7-Love the line of the dunes, and the shape of the shadow. Plus the rocks, just plopped there somehow.

    8-I’ve looked at this one several times now. I love the shapes of the depressions in the sand, and the textures of the dune. I want to see more of the dune and less of the background.

    9-Bang, that totally fills the bingo card for classic desert photo! Lovely! Print and frame.

    10-Interesting that there should be a dune right there. It looks out of place, sort of.
